Colours of Lima

Since we arrived the skies have been grey. I mean not a peak of blue, let alone sun.  Even so, the UV index is still high and we are putting on sunscreen in the morning. (I’m sure no one finds this surprising).

To start you off, here’s a few pictures of the colours we are seeing, starting with a palm tree (normally associated with sunny places) stuck in a land of grey.

On the upside, many of the buildings and houses are painted bright colours and there are colourful plants everywhere doing battle with the greyness.
