So To Prove I’m Not Crazy
I’ve done a fair amount of complaining about the difficulty of figuring out what buses go where in Lima. To show our fine friends the sort of difficulties we run across navigating around Lima, I have a simple test.
Here are a couple of photos taken of the bus that Christina takes to work every day. To pass the test, and be ready to start your navigation adventure with Lima’s bus companies, please identify the bus number (the route) of the bus you see in the following pictures.

Bzzzzt! Good guess, but wrong, this is not in fact bus No 07. We did go through our own ‘Bus 07’ phase and we spent some time insisting we were riding bus no 07 around Lima, much to the confusion of people we met, CUSO staff, other bus drivers, and anyone with whom we discussed bus directions.
