Truth in Advertising
Interestingly, Peru has the same addiction to unrealistic advertising that the rest of the world. Most products, particularly in the malls, are advertised next to large pictures of blue eyed models with their blond hair blowing gently in the virtual breeze despite virtually all of the population being dark haired and olive skinned. This is much more notable when it happens outside a salon.
At first look, it appears that a salon is offering to turn a paying Latino patron into a Caucasian blondie for the very reasonable price of 40s, about 16 dollars. I also really like that the name of the place is “Ego’s”. I’m not sure if it is meant to refer to the clients, or the supernatural abilities of the salon owners.
